Incitement from The Sun – Reaction from the EDL

November 14, 2010

The Sun published The Sun finds poppy thugs today.  The frightening result is published below, in a series of screenshots from the EDL fan page.  The posts are still up on the EDL wall at this moment, but I won’t link directly to them as they contain a name and address which may or may not be that of one of the men who burned poppies on Armistice Day. If anything happens to the people who live in the building advertised on the EDL wall, my personal opinion will be that The Sun is at least partially responsible for it.

*Edit* The EDL admins have finally deleted the thread, several hours after it was first posted.

***Caution*** Please do not read if you are easily offended.  This is truly the most hateful bile I have ever seen from the EDL.  With thanks to Expose for the tip.

One can’t help but wonder how many of these people would be getting a call from their local police service if their names were passed on to the authorities…

There is also a group set up with the mans full name and address. The police have been informed and Bedfordshire police have stated on their fb page that they are aware and dealing with the matter.

Wooooow. Love the bloke saying ‘guys, tone it down on the colour front — you might give the EDL a bad image’! Gives you hope for humanity, doesn’t it?

Sickening. Ugly. Imagine if this was a FB page for Muslims Against Crusades (who are considerably fewer in number than FB EDL) and it was MAC supporters (even fewer) talking about non-Muslims. How long before they would be arrested?

Hard to see any of this vile shit as a “joke”.

I just don’t understand, yes they burnt a poppy, yes it was distasteful & disrespectful but this is just…wow.
And then you’ve got the odd person popping up telling them not to be racist or violent, it just boggles.
Wonder if they’re as outraged about the protest the Celtic fans staged during half time the other week

Thank you all for the comments. You have helped restore my faith in humanity a little.

They won’t go after Celitic fans, as they are not brown enough. It can’t be too hard for police to trace any of those comments, should any incident happen.
